Dr. Bret Wilken grew up in western Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University and graduated with honors from The University of Houston College of Optometry. He practiced as an associate with a large group in Richardson for 8 years and opened his own office with his wife in 2002. He became licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in 2006.
Stephanie and Bret have 3 children: Jack (March 2003) and twins, Kate and Luke (April 2007). Stephanie loves getting to know her patients personally and sharing in a small part of their lives. Other than playing with her children, her favorite pastime is decorating and crafting (when time allows). Bret is a sports enthusiast who will challenge anyone to random sports trivia. He loves building and woodworking (again, when time allows). Their favorite days are spent doing something all five can enjoy
